About

Eleana Polychronaki is a Computational Designer, Creative Coder and Visual artist. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture & Engineering from NTUA, Athens, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Emergent Technologies and Design from the Architectural Association.

She has worked as a dedicated Computational Design Specialist for large architectural practices and art studios, focusing on challenges that range from complex geometry generation and custom tool development, to immersive experiences, serious games and interactive digital art.

Through the years she has become intrigued by how individuals perceive and experience space. As a result she enjoys pursuing new ways of creating digital, physical and hybrid experiences, by exploring and combining different kinds of technology.

In 2020 she co-founded Uncharted Limbo - a collective of creative coders & visual artists based in London. Main purpose of the collective is to explore a shared curiosity for what lies beyond current technological boundaries, at the unlikely intersections of various disciplines. Fusing individual professional expertise in the fields of Architecture, Computational Design, Game Development, VFX and Film, the collective was founded to work in ways that are far greater than the sum of its parts.

Eleana is also currently working as a Computational Designer and Creative Coder for Jason Bruges Studio and as a studio tutor in the Emergent Technologies and Design master of the AA. In her free time, she’s either hanging upside-down from some aerial apparatus, or she is exploring and implementing new generative algorithms for Uncharted Limbo.
