Synaptic Cloud is an artwork located in the lobby of Brainium studios, a mobile phone software development company. The artwork's content is pulling and visualizing data from the company's users via Google Cloud servises in fixed time intervals during the day.
Project Description
Design
The artwork features a total of nine different behaviours each of which is connected to a specific dataset being read from Brainium Studios. In fixed time intervals the data are being read and cross-checked across their corresponding thresholds. Each time a threshold is met the behaviour bound to it is activated. The difference of the data value with the threshold value will define certain characteristics in each behaviour.
The thresholds are set to auto-adjust themselves based on the trends of the incoming data withing a 5-day moving average.
